I've got a decent amount of experience with peltiers and Intel chips, but I've never used one on a TBird. My current watercooling setup never gets up to 40C with 1633Mhz @ 1.88V and on cold nights (outdoor radiator) it never even hits 30C.
Do you think adding a 172W peltier would drop the LOAD temps below 10C (DangerDen Maze2), and if it did would that actually gain me more than 50Mhz? Do you think a "Big Momma" radiator could handle that much heat without my water getting too far above room temp?
Like I said, I've used peltiers before, so I know how they behave and how to insulate them... I've just never tried them on something this hot.
