Right I am looking to build my first water cooling system and just would like your opinions on the parts I have selected and to know what things I have missed.

Danger Den DD TDX Intel scoket 775 (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=26_50&products_id=319)

Danger Den -tyee for X1800-1900 series (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=26_50&products_id=506)

Danger Den Maze 4 Chipset Waterblock (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=26_50&products_id=74)

Laing D5 Pump 1/2" (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=42&products_id=252)

XSPC R120T Rad (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=469)

Danger Den single 5 1/4" bay resivoir (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=102)

x5 120mm Zalman ZM-F3 fansa and 1 92mm ZalmanZM-F2 fan (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Zalman_Fans.html)
(3 for the rad and two 120mm ones for my case and the 92mm one for my case so I can have them on the slow speed instead of the case fans I have now)

Some 1/2" tubing (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=29&products_id=256)

Some AS5 (http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=39&products_id=257)

Some battery water and car anti freeze I already have, Unless people recommend using that Fluid XP+.

Please do let me know of anything I am missing and let me know if any of these are bad choices.

Thanx John

Couple of things...

1. I am not a fan of in computer resevoirs. Upping your chances with a possible leak. I prefer putting a T line for filling/bleeding.

2. Tubing.... If your gonna WC, go with either the thick wall Tygon or clearflex 60. I have had a lot of success with the clearflex 60, it has a great bend threshhold without kinking. The tygon however kinks a little easier but is far more clear than the clearflex 60.

3.For additives I only use Purple Ice or HydrX. Purple Ice will give a nice purple color and HydrX will be green.

Most of your parts look fine. I don't see it on that website, but I would recommend the Swiftech microres over the bayres if you can get one as they are much easier to mount and fill than a bayres.

You can save yourself some money and get the maze4 acetal with some heatsinks for the memory chips instead of the DD tyee block as a maze4 acetal with heatsinks will cool your VC all day long just fine. The VC BGA chips don't need much cooling.

I would go for an Apogee over the TDX. The Apogee is a better performer.

Cheers guys. :)

I have had a look for the parts you have all recommended but carnt find them for sale on any UK sites.

I am supprised none of you have said I have forgot something as I dont really know all the things that need to be ordered, like fittings will these parts come ready to fit or will I need some?

As that site does sell fitting seperatly too but I dont know what I will need but dont want to have to make another order once I get the first one just for a few poxy fittings as it will mean eatra delivery charges.

As you can see it is not compleately finnished I still need to mount the RAD properly and redo the hosing too as I messed-up doing it the first time and ran out of hosing. But at least you camn see where I am upto now.
