One of my folders started freaking out after an unsucessful overclock attempt, and I needed to reinstall the folding software. I went to Stanford and got the newest version. I installed it, and must have wasted a half hour making it work!
I found that it had defaulted to using a proxy server, I don't think that it did that before. Also, the config screen is somewhat different...
Anyway, I finally got it to work by clearing out the ghosted information in the proxy info boxes, which were NOT selected anyway... In other words, the only way it would work, is if I not only unselected the proxy server check box, but I also needed to clear out all of the info under that box...it has something about using internet explorer proxy...
why couldn't they just leave well enough alone?
