I like to know which way is better for perfermance & stability on my wireless network. this maybe a noob question, i'm really bad at network.
DSL Line -> Wireless Router -> DSL modem -> pcs
use wireless router as bridge? i have a 801.11g netgear router.
or
DSL Line -> DSL modem -> Wireless Router -> pcs
Your WIreless router should be on your internal network behind the DSL modem.
DSL Line > DSL Modem > Wireless Router > PC'S
Yep, plug the DSL modem into the wall jack using a normal phone cord.
Use an Ethernet Cable (wider plug) to connect the DSL modem's LAN port to the wireless router's WAN port.
The PC's connect to either the LAN ports (using Ethernet cables) or wirelessly.
Then it's just a matter of following the guides that came with the stuff to get it all working.

There is no way to put the router between the line and modem.

For geebus' sakes - use WPA encryption, too! Use a "Strong" password - or else WPA is as useless as WEP. Once you have a shared WiFi + wLAN network, anyone that connects to your WiFI can see ALL of your wLAN shares!!! Wi-Fi is just like being plugged directly into your Router's LAN ports.
I intentionally isolate the WiFi from my wLAN to aviod any such issues (2 routers, 2 networks, 1 Gateway). Granted I can not "Share" my files over WiFi - but my laptop doesn't need to see the shares anyway (just Internet connectivity). The WiFi can be "Wide Open" and none of my wLAN Shares are compromised.
Plus - by having a "Wide open WiFi" (that is isolated from your wLAN for security), you can use that as a defense if you ever get sued by the RIAA! :)
