Swtiching to Intel ,Need advice on Conroe

Im trying to decide what board is the best for conroe or at least something close.Right now I plan on buying a 6400, dont know which ram,but it will be a2GB kit.I just need your help on what board to buy ,from what I hear its ASUS.Any ideas ? Please post 1st & 2nd top of the line boards.thanx

first choice on mobo would be the asus p5b delux. next up the gigabyte DS3. its cheaper, but some would say quirky.

both will do high fsb (~500+) that you will need to max out a e6400.

for ram, any ddr2 800 kit that can oc a bit will work. on the 965 boards, you cannot run less than 1:1 on the ram, so you will need some that will do 450fsb or ddr2 900 to get 3.6ghz. i would say that would be a good goal.
