sata transfer between 2 hdd

beside the maxtor sata 80bg, I'm going to add a 250gb maxtor sata with 16mb cache also,
I would like to set this new hdd as the boot one, so I have to transfer
the C drive onto it, using norton ghost, is it enough?
setting this hdd as active and set it for boot in the bios.
surely have to make a first primary partition same size that the original C windows one.

can someone tell me?
any idea?

Ghosting it should work fine. Partition size won't really matter.

well, after posting I went on search and obviously, you're right ;)
so, I will set it up, format it, and ghost my current C partition onto it,
then will choose it in the bios to boot from and then with a soft, I will make some new partition on it ;)
