Hi to all

I need help on how i can increase my cpu voltage(p4 1.6ghz 478) with Cpu pin wiring mod or some other way because my motherboard (GIGABYTE 8ITX) doesnt support vcore changes from the bios or from dip switches.(default voltage of the cpu is 1.75) I have found this link http://www.vr-zone.com/guides/p4mod/ but it refers about the 423 p4 PIN OUT and i try to find something about the new 478 p4 pin out.

Thank you

You can dl the technical spec sheet Here (http://developer.intel.com/design/pentium4/datashts/249887.htm). It should have everything ya need :D

And by the way...Welcome to OCers!!

On page 55, you will see the voltage pins identified (Vid0-Vid4) and they correspond to pins AE5-AE1 on the pin grid. Match them up on the grid on page 50 and you should be good to go. I am sorry I do not have the ability to post a graphic from work or I would be more specific. I would caution you that the Vid pins may behave differently on this package than they did in the Coppermine. There is a warning to this effect in the documentation, so make sure you understand completely what you are doing before you undertake it.
