There's loads of people here who can. You'll need to enter a little more information, though. Your motherboard make and model would be a good starter. Really ANY info you can post about your system. The more the better.

Here is info on mobo http://www.hp.com/cposupport/personal_computing/support_doc/bph03662.html#P44_1182 ! I have a pavilion 8160!
See if there are jumpers around the CPU..
There most likely be and you can try changing them around .. And your processor is most likely to be unlocked so if not I think your out of luck.

Ouch. Probably out of luck there. Brand name computers aren't known for their overclocking ability. As Yodums said, you can look for jumpers, or maybe BIOS settings regarding the CPU speed, but I doubt you'll find anything.
There's no luck in bios.. I just know it..
Those old chips use jumpers and its HP, there won't be a menu of "User Define" or anything..

I remember that overclocking was possible by moving these jumpers! Someone posted it on the pavilion 8100 series forum on hp but its closed now!

The P233 is multi locked...and the only way is to change the bus speed, however if the HP also came with Cyrix cpu's back then well you might be in luck, because some of the cyrix cpu's ran at 95mhz bus, so if you look in the manual and see settings for the cyrix, you might be able to use that info to change your bus
Good luck,
Doc
