Which would be better this Ehiem Pump 1250 (http://www.dangerden.com/test/mall/pumps.asp)
or
12v 500gph Pump (http://www.overclockwatercool.com/resepump.html)
Get the ehiem over the no name pump on OC-watercool, it's prob a bilge pump anyway, that you can find in kmart for $12 in the sports section (for boating). OC-watercool doesn't have the best reputation anyway

I use an inline pump (Pondmaster 250) like the Ehiem it works great! Reservours can take more space in your case. But, inline pumps have more issues with removing bubbles. Take a look at a few different setups, but buy a good quality pump. We're talking about your CPU here if the pump stops you may be replacing the cooked cpu. On the other hand if you run cheap Duron's like me you may be willing to risk it.
Just some thoughts hope it helps!

Do I need a reservoir though?
With inline pumps- no
submersible- yes

So i dont need a resvoir, because my pump will act as one, so are the eheims good with the black ice radiators and a danger den pump? Also are the ehiems 12v or AC?
"danger den pump"- did you mean a danger den waterblock? and the ehiems I am pretty sure are AC. and yeah the black ice radiator is good, just get the right fittings

everything is going to be 1/2". How much water can the eheims hold?
inline pumps don't necessarily "hold" water as much as they just move it along. I have an inline but I run it submersible (I have a Mag Drive and I've heard they leak, so I just ran it submersible).
Now if someone who runs an inline set-up would care to give a few helpful hints, that would be cool ;)

I have a Mag Drive pump, a Pond Master 250. I sealed it using some 'form-a-gasket' stuff that I usually use for car watter pump gaskets. It hasn't leaked yet! I have also heard of sealing them with RTV (room temp vulcanization) gasket stuff like you get at auto part stores. What you do is remove the 'end cover' put on some stuff and then re-install the end. Be careful with the scews that hold the end cover on they may be plastic and break and the connections to the pump are plasic holes that can strip or break also. It wasn't really to hard to do just had to take my time. Here's a pic of my pump. The hose clamp is to repair a crack from overtightening the brass fittings (Doh!) You can just barely see the brown gasket sealer where the end cover and pump meet.

An ounce or two ;)
With a fully inline syste the radiator acts as the reservior not the pump.
