I'm fairly new to networking, I suppose I have teh very basics down. I can set up a simple windows network. And that is about it.
I have a small Home network, with shared folders, so I can access my stuff from different computers in the Home.
I've just gotten a Laptop, but it is set up to with the School's Domain.
I want to, when I'm Home, be able to connects to these shared drives and access my stuff on these computers.
Exept when I run the Windows Network Setup Wizard (To enable File and Printer sharing) It tells me that This computer Belongs to a Domain, and that I can not use thsi wizard. Any way to set it up so I can see these Drives, and access them?
Edit:
I've solved my problem, simply turning off simple file sharing allowed me to view the shares.. how silly :)
