Every game that i play freezes, EXCEPT Sims 2. What i have tried is:
System:
ASUS M2N-E Mobo
Athlon X2 3800+
1gb DDR2-667 OCZ Gold
320gb Seagate Sata HDD
eVga 7600GT KO PCI-E
Soundmax Soundcard
Windows XP SP2
1. Different drivers 84.21/87.25/91.33
2. Windows XP Dual-Core Hot Fix
3. AMD 1.3.2 Driver
4. AMD Dual-Core Optimizer
5. Disabling Sound Card (maybe an irq conflict)
6. New nForce Drivers 9.16
7. Game Patches
8. Setting the Affinity Manually
I'm getting sick of this.... and by "every game" i mean:
Oblivion
CS:Source
Rise of Nations
Age of Empires III
CSS isn't AS bad, it freezes less frequently, but long enough to get shot and make the game not playable ):
Anyone, desperately need help here. Thanks.

Have you run memtest on your ram? Bad ram can do alot of wacky things... or maybe compatability issue w. your ram + mobo? Dunno too much about the finer points of the AM2 platform, but I do know that ram compatability is one recurring issue...

I have the SLi version of your motherboard. OCZ memory dosen't couple well with m2n (its a common issue). I'd reccomend you get Crosair memory.

never even thought of it, but i should mention that it is not giving me a bsod or making me reset the computer, it freezes for about 10 seconds, then continues, sometimes freezing like that a few times in a row after unfreezing for a couple seconds.

ran prime 95, when running 2 instances on core 0 and 1 neither will pass test 1, and by "dont pass", i mean that they sit there, after 40 minutes they are still on test 1, no errors, just take forever, doing nothing? :S
edit: core 0 and 1 will run the test, but not simultaneously, does that further lead you guys to believe it's a psu problem?

ooh man this one is really easy, you have to use a program called winlauncher to set the games to use only one core, this way they dont crash nomore :D

refer to post 1, #8. I've already tried the affinity. Seems like it might be the psu.

Have you posted a link to this thread in the AMD section? I am kinda unsure of what is going on, especially with your description of what is happening when attempting dual-Prime.... that being said, do you have another psu to test with?

yep: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=473780
and yes, i have my Ultra X-Connect 500Watt (extremely stable i might add =D) to use, also i can try the psu that came with this thing, an Xion 450watt, 16A on the 12v ROFL.
the reason i have posts in both is because all my googling has brought me to a few conlusions:
- PSU
- Memory
- nVidia Drivers (hence the post here)
and since the memory has tested fine, the guys in the amd forum have said it is more than likely my psu with its horrible rails.

Case closed guys, her video card seems to be at fault, it freezes on my system and hers, but my 7600gt co does not. The mobo reads the voltages way off, and my dmm is dead, so i used an analog mm, looks like the ocz is at around 11.9x v on the 12v rail, so it's fine.
