Blowhole?

Is there really any benefit in installing a blow hole or two in the top of my case?
I already have 2 sucking in and 1+PSU fan blowing out, so would it help at all do you think?

Does your case run cooler with the left side panel off?

If yes then you will probably improve temps with a blowhole in the top of the case: heat rises and often gets trapped in the top.
The blowhole alleviates this.

If your case does not run cooler with the side off, then Good Job!
You probably don't need to cut a blowhole.

I agree with roger. I just stuck enough fans on my case until the temp difference with the side panel on or off was about 1 degree. I don't have a blow hole, and at this temp difference I don't think it would do much.

if all u got is a PS fan sucking out then u need more than that for rear exhaust, unless you are running with the case side off. If it is closed then definately dont worry about blow holes just ad some good exhauset to creat a wind tunnel effect.
