You can still OC it by the usual FSB increase method. The only catch is not all (if any? can't remember) s370 boards will be able to lock the PCI/AGP bus to a set frequency so you end up oc'ing everything. This isn't a problem if kept within reasonable limits of about +10% bus speed but it means the final OC may not be the 'cpu max' but limited by the bus overclocks or the other components like HD etc.

what motherboard is the p3 in? raising the fsb has been the only way to oc a intel since, hmmm the P-II 400mhz or was it lower then that.

You might still get some OC out of it. On my BH-6, I have a few preset choices to set the ratio between FSB and PCI bus.
And run CPU-Z or some such. Not all P-IIIs are created equal.
