View Full Version : hd errors with increased fsb
When i tried to increase the fsb from 133fsb to 134fsb i noticed when windows 98se finished loading my "Program Files" directory on one of my hd partitions had vanished. I have two hd parts: 5gig, 25gig. Right now I'm using scan disk to see if that will help. In the mean time I would like to ask if anyone knows what is going on? What can I do to fix this problem?

upping your FSB 1 mhz WILL NOT do that, it was another problem, that was jsut a coincedence. I mena that does not even raise the bus speed of the HD at all. You have to go up dramatically to get errors like that.
