Media player 8.0/xp and MP3 and wav question!

How does one rip MP3 with this program without paying another 10bucks and how do you copy wav files with this program. I think ogg and linux is better than this M$ ****! I am so sick of M$ and their policies!

The only solution is to not use WMP, as part of the MS worl domination they have support to play them, but that's it. Everything revolves around the M$ proprietary WMA format. I'm sure there are free windows programs to convert to ogg. I know you can use winamp to do a diskout and that will change them into wav.

I know when I reboot to windows every once in a blue moon I use music match jutebox. Their demo version allows ripping and converting. Only thing you don't get is burning speed is 1x, but you can burn with any program you want.
