quake 3 fps question????

are the fps capped in quake 3?

i cant go any higher that 90 but its acting like it is just capped at 90 though, what is the command to change how high it will try to render fps?

BTW, im hitting 30 FPS consistantly, with a TNT2 PCi. CAn not WAIT for my GF2 GTS or GF3(depending on which one i get fer christmas)
