as far as i know , hmmm nope.. crts are Far better qaluitly then lcd's.. lcs wont ever get shar enough for graphics... there'll be having a new monitor type out within the next 2 years caaled oem or something like that...but go with crt.. viewsonic, sony, kds, or nec are the best Retail ones u can buy. look for .24 pitch or lower is best.

A good 19" LCD would cost you major $$$$.

Dunno, but I do know that the LCDs are great devices (no annoying monitor flicker or hum) and the better ones will perform as well as any CRT... I'm loving my LCD and the image is definitely much sharper than my old .28 dot pitch 17" monitor.

If money's really no problem, you could go to pricewatch.com and find something that suits you, although the cheapest monitor there costs more than I've spent on all the computers I've ever owned.
'Salright, though. Money means different things to different people. I just hope that you don't spend it all on yourself.

I'm not a big fan of LCDs. The really high-end ones are pretty nice, but still come with broken pixels and a restrictive viewing angle and all the other pitfalls of LCD technology. The good ones can play games now with hardly any image smearing, but they still don't cut it for serious graphics work.

Well that's my opinion anyway. I'm really picky when it comes to image quality.:D

Didn't mean to diss on him. Just meant to accent that you don't have a very complex avatar. Good, but not complex.

Edit: What have I become? I just put periods after three sentance fragments!
