amd 1800 install

Just got my amd xp 1800 tonite. Setting up a whole computer tonite. I just installed the sk6 heat sink on the proc and I am going to apply artic silver to the proc. Where exactly do I apply the artice silver, on the 4 rubber pads? Any links to pictures or a nice description would be nice.

You need to apply a thin, even layer on the core only. That is the square in the center of the cpu.
