I was browsing for higher CFM fans for my new case and I ran across Nitro Video & System Cooler (http://www.speedycool.com/sub2.htm). Has anyone used this or something like it?

I'm not using one myself, but the results I've seen vary very much. It all depends on things like case layout, heat sources, air flow, cables etc. My opinion is that good overall air flow is more effective, using a device like this would probable ruin my airflow and create "hot pockets".

Interesting idea. Wouldn't do it myself, I like my fans fixed to the case so I'm not just stirring up the air within but actually moving it out.

The airflow question is what popped into my head originally. The unit is semi-permanent when you attach it with the 3M Foam/Tape. So if you want to move it around to try different setups you might not be able to. It looks like you need a large amount of elbow grease and a scalpel to remove the foam once it's attached. :eh?:
