im wondering about LCD

in q3 ppz need 120 fsb 2 do jumps but ... when the lcds most common frequency is 75hz what does it mean ? 4 instance :

damn the monitor wasnt lcd argh lol
what LCD u would buy?

you should expect to see 19" LCD monitors for that price, i would go with a Trinitron or an NEC....

the price isnt most important here i need a good display in games i hear the LCD doesn't hurt ur eyes as much as normal monitor

some of the low end lcds suck

you cant see them from any angle besides head on

i say its still to new to buy

if price is really no matter buy a flat plasma display

if not go with a high end crt you can get alot more viewing area for the same price and if you pump the refresh up it wont hurt your eyes:cool:

The less expensive LCD monitors are painfully bad. The very expensive LCD monitors are fine for lawyer's offices, yet still are not good enough for serious gaming.

low end LCDs have a problem entirely clearing hte last frame from off the monitor, and when playing games or watching movies this gives a blurring affect or a 'ghost' personally for my gaming id stick with a lat panal CRT but if your dead set on a lcd i think it was silicon graphics that made a nice one, but iirc it was 2000$ im not sure htough so you may want to check it out.
