Hi,
I purchased as new P5P800 SE and it was working great.
I have recently noticed the floppy drive quit working, tested the floppy drive
on another system and it works fine. it's turned on and set as 1st boot device but doesn't check it.
any ideas?

I have also noticed that when transferring files on my network that the P5P800 SE also appears to time out the connection. I have the option to power off the lan unchecked, so it shouldn't be timing out. The error msg is either network is busy or it just quits the transfer and says the other pc isn't available.
what would time it out?

Any ideas on this?

If the settings are correct then it
Looks like I should RMA this thing.

Update: It turns out this is a 05 board with the known lan problems.
I guess Asus didn't fix this till 4/06.
Time to RMA it.
