cdrw or hard drive

i have a dilemma. should i buy a cdrw drive or buy a 40GB hard. My computer has only 4GB of hard drive space, but im still not sure.

Buy the CDRW and use it to copy that stuff you never use on your hard drive to clear some space...

OK .. I'm mixed up your signature says you have a 40 gig and you posted on 4.

If you only have 4 then buy the HDD and split the partitions so you won't have to back anything up for formats..

And such.

If you already have the 40gig drive I would recommend the CD-RW then.

honestly, hdd space is at a premium. Data at your fingertips, no cd juggling etc. Get the hard drive.:D

hdd isnt as permmanent as cd it can fail and many do so u lose ur data if u use cd they can be scrached so here is goods and bads if u boy cdrw u have 2 buy cds al the time it costs u more then hdd i sugjest ju buy both i have 30 gig ibm and cdrw im happy with them

mabey he only has 4 gigs left

i would go witht he hdd

mabey get a 10 gig or a 20 gig and see if you can find a cdrw at a used computer store or something

hdd is more important if you only have one computer
