i desided to get a ninja heatsink and a 3500-4100 rpm 120x120x35mm fan. air cooling is alot easier and cheaper. but i was wondering if that will be enought for a e6600 at 3.6 or 3.8 ghz.

also what should i get for a chipet cooler with a p5b delux?

I'm using the Coolermaster Blue Ice to cool my northbridge. Seems efficient enough... and pretty as all getout.

Only problem is it comes with some sort of adhesive on the bottom and there's no real way to attach it otherwise.

But you could always unscrew the fan from the heatsink and put it on top on top of the stock heatsink.

The Scythe Ninja is arguably one of the best heatsinks on the market right now and is a great choice for your E6600. Those chips aren't known to run excessively hot (unlike the Pentium D chips), so I don't see any problem with your choice, especially if you are using a beefy 38mm thick 120mm fan!:santa:

As for chipset cooling, it will depend a lot on what motherboard you are using and where the chipset is placed. The Microcool Northpole XE Whisper (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/minoxewh.html), Swiftech MCX159-CU (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swmcchco.html), or either of the Thermalright products seen HERE (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/memandvidcar.html) look like great products. I personally own the Swiftech cooler and it is very quiet and cools incredibly well. I even put it on an X1300Pro and that sucker was idleing below 40ºC!
