So... Like I said in another thread I've been gone for a while and come back to weird stuff in my backyard and 8in tall grass thanks to all the rain. While I'm mowing the grass, I stop to pick up a buch of branches/twigs that have fallen out of the trees to throw in the firepit when I find this large bone!!!! It's farther out in the backyard that the dogs can go and the only time they've had a bone this big is when I gave them deer's legs, but that was a year ago and they can't go that far into the back yard. I know you can't tell by the picture because it's macroed and on the hot-tub cover, but this bone is as big as my wife's forearm (5ft tall). I doubt that it's human but it is the right size. What do you think?

That doesn't match any human bones to me.

Not an expert on this stuff, but from what I have seen skeleton wise and on forensic files it does not look like a human bone. Mainly due to it's thickness combined with the curves. Maybe a shin of a cow or something.

Looks like a tibia to me. If you have any reason to think that it might be human then you may possibly have disturbed a crime scene and you should call the police. However, that being said, it is almost certainly from an animal.

Looks like a large canine bone to me, but at the same time, I slept through biology and anatomy :D
