Firstly, I absolutely LOVE it. http://www.pbus-167.com/
I'm running a dothan 1.7 in a thinkpad. I'm wondering if the dynamic cpu speed option is safe. It alters the multiplier and voltage on the fly, but is fluctuating the clock and voltage often bad for anything?
It's supposed to do that anyways, NHC just lets you adjust the voltages, say lowering them for more battery with no performance decrease :D. Worst that will happen is bluescreen if you lower the volt too much.
or an instant lock up if you lower it too too much...
Its about as bad for it as turning on your cars headlights are bad for the dashboard dimmer lights.

just to clarify, i am not changing the voltage and clock manually. The program does, many times a minute depending on what kind of use it is getting. I posted a similar question in their forum i'll let you guys know if I get some interesting responses.
The Pentium M changes clock like that anyways whether you have the prog or not.
assuming you have the proper drivers installed- its software controled.
