Voltage adjustment with a jumper for a C2D board?

I'm pondering getting a C2D system and I've seen all those posts about not being able to boot with certain mem sticks because they require more than the default 1.8v. What I guess would work is a jumper to have more voltage with default bios settings. I'm not interested in using a cheap stick to change voltage in bios and then putting the good sticks (DDR2 800) in. Not the least because I'd have to do it every time I reset the CMOS.

But are there any boards that have such a voltage adjustment, or something similar to get the voltage hungry sticks to boot? It should be overclocking friendly and not too expensive either - say around $150 max.

edit: damn, this was supposed to go under Intel Motherboards. Could a mod move it?
