will thermaltake copper shims hinder airflow and hence raise cpu temperature?
they shouldn't impede airflow, but some people say that they raise temperatures up a bit.

copper shims also conduch eletricity, get something like a tweakmonster purple shim, it does not conduct eletricity and looks cool and doesn't do anything to air flow or temps

Looks matter in something jammed out of sight under a hsf? :p
Those copper shims actually raise temps on Intel coppermine CPUs.
