What's the major difference between the Geforce2 Ultra, Geforce3,geforce3Ti 200 and the Geforce3 Ti 500 cards????Would like to get a Geforce3 but don't want to shell out $250-$300.

GF2 Ultra is the GF2 on crack=) 250/460
GF3 is...your GF3 with the core/memory: 200/460
GF3 Ti200 175/400 - Supposibly to perform as well as a vanilla GF3 at a lower price.
GF3 Ti500 240/500 - GF3Ultra w/ a different name.
Ti are under a new .15 micron process or its due to refined process of making these chips giving them much higher clockspeeds. I've heard both and not sure which is true. Also have a new PCB layout.

the best bang for your money is the Ti200, in many cases it will overclock to Ti500 speeds for aroun 160$, but if you have a bestbuy in your neighborhood, wiat outside at 6AM Friday morning and ytou could get a Visiontek Ti200 for 99$!!!! that is an amazing deal and i suggest you go get it....if i was getting the Geforce3 i would definately get the Ti200, the 500 is just a ripoff....the geforce2 ultra is a very good card, but is old technology and from a pure framerates standpoint is great, but it lacks some advantages of the Geforce3 in newer games where it may have rpoblems (ie Unreal 2) and i fi i were going for a new card right now itd be better to get an 8500 or a geforce3.....
