Looking at the wattage calculator that is not really gonna do it. But I don't know how accurate those are, but Pent. D's are power hungry. "This case may only fit the 60mm fan 200W SilenX SFX PSU sold by ExoticPC." That was off the site which I take as it's the only PSU it will fit, could be wrong. Look at the egg for SFX PSU's they have a few.

could i possibly mod the case to fit a bigger psu?

You could always mod the case if your that kind of person, yes.

In that case (pun not intended?) I would suggest for a Pentium D 805 system a Silverstone Zues 560w (mine arrives monday) or a OCZ Powerstream 520w. Both are powerful single +12v rail PSU's, just what Intel systems need.

For that price you'd be better off with the slightly better(not actually better if you're not that picky on highly clean power and efficency) Enermax Liberty 620watt, it's the best PSU I've ever used.
It's a fair bit large, but damn it's heavy for it's size, it's stuffed with copper heatsinks and runs cool. All of my power readings are perfect, nothing is more then 0.01v off at %90 efficency.

And the whole modular setup is perfectly done, it's easy, clean, and screw-up proof.

But what puts the icing on the cake is the velcro pouch that holds the wires, very useful. :3

Its only 22A, though I would still pick it over the PC&power because of the modular cabling.

Well, it's two 22A lines, but it is 10 watts more powerful, that power is going towards the CPU and MOBO instead, which is a good thing if you like to overclock by alot! This thing is soo stable and cool running.
What had me sold was mainly the fact that there's two highly stable rails, one big one has it's theoretical flaws to deal with.
I'm actually overclocking higher then before with the same voltages by about %0.5 of total speed, that actually surprised me, I never knew that a PSU could magically make your computer go faster! :D

I would like to put in a more powerful fan though, it's too quiet... when it's running I can't hear it; AKA there's not alot of airflow, no problem for the PSU, but I like the ventilation for my hardware.

My PC&Power PSUs never lasted me, they would loose efficency and destablize shortly after the warrenty flew away, not badly, but I'm very picky on PSUs because they are the most important part to a computer when it comes to... several things.

Ive found that intel systems like single strong 12V rails better than dual weak rails, not that 22 is weak, but 49 on one would do better in an intel system

I would like to say it will power it, but I just don't know on this one. It definetly won't power it if you plan to overclock. On SPCR, a PD 905 with a 6800GT draws around 260W, while I imagine that setup draws ~220W. With 264W available on the 12V, it should power it, but it's still a little close to the PSU's limit.

I would like to see 26A on the 12v for a non-overclocked system like that.

i personally use a PC P7C 750EPS with a dual Opteron 2218 system...works just fine and dandy. :)
