Core2Duo and the Silver TDX Block for Intel 775 Processors

Anyone know if these 2 work together? I know the Core2Duo is a 775 structure but dangerden doesnt say if it works on this chip.

it will work

C2D is a lga775 chip and as long as the mounting on the blcok is for 775, it will work

and will cool nicely, but not worth the price tag they give it IMHO

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it is expensive and that is why i am trying to salvage :D I am currently using this block on my cpu in my sig and I want to upgrade now so I was trying to see if I can use almost all of my cooling parts in the upgrade. Though i put Silver block I have the copper one and I love it. I have had it for almost a year on my pc and it keeps steady at about 86F even under a heavy load. Thats why i would love to use it in my upgrade.
