hi i was woundering, i have the pump and resevior already but i was woundering wich of these system are better. i'm going to overclok my pentium d 805 to around 3.6~3.8ghz i know that will make alot of heat and i dont have that much money right now...anyway here is the systems is was think about
system 1:
Black Ice Xtreme 120mm- blue 1x
tygon 3/8 in id 1/2 od lab tubing 6 feet x2
hydrx extreme duty uv coolant 1X
swifttech apogee extreme preformance block with am2 support 1X
swifttech mcb-120 pci pass thru kit for 3/8 ID x1
Arctic Silver 5 3.5 Gram x1
system 2:
Swiftech Apogee-1U 775 High Performance Waterblock x1
swifttech mcr-120 blue radiator w/ 1200mm fan x1
swifttech 3/8 ID 1/2 OD high quality pvc vinyl tubing-1foot x12
coolermaster sag-k01-u2 thermal conductivity fluid x1
swifttech mcb-120 pci pass thru kit for 3/8 ID x1
Arctic Silver 5 3.5 Gram x1
each one is going top be around $125~130 with shipping so i need to know if one is better then the other. thanks for anwsering my question.
p.s. is it worth it to get chipset, hdd, gpu water blocks.
Correct me if i am wrong but the only real difference between those kits is which 120mm radiator you are using (also which fluid). Why does one of them have a low profile apogee and the otehr a regular one? I suspect you wont see a major difference between the two though I will also say that you might just be better with a high end air setup (water with a single 120mm raidator wont distance itself from a good air setup by much it takes a double or tripple 120 radiator to do that now)

hmm..... what if i put 4 80 mm radeators in it because my case does not have room for dual 120mm radeators would that make a diffence.......

Wheres your pump?
Do you want quit cooling? because if you do the mcr rad is better for quiet cooling.
If you want to cool the gpu also, then you would want a bigger rad. if you only want to cool the cpu the singl rad will be enough.
4 80mm radiators probably has to much restriction. you could always get a rad box and mount the rad on the outside of the case.

I'm not sure how well a 3x120mm rad would hold up with a radbox. If you just want CPU + GPU. I would use mcr-220. I'd also use a mix of Zerex + distilled water instead of spending money on the liquids. You also need a pump. If you're going real cheap on the WC, I'd just get a good air cooler and then switch to WC.
I'd recommend getting this custom kit for you. Petra's tech shop is a reliable place to shop from

Black Ice Pro 2 with a rad box would be fine.
Forget HDD blocks. Unless you are running super high FSB (which you won't with a 805), you don't need a chipset block. Adding a GPU is a possible option though. If you are a 3D gamer, a vid card block would definitely help out.

Get the regular apogee, the low profile one will make it hard to route tubing since the barbs are parallel with the motherboard.

go with mcr220. I've seen a couple comparisons and the mcr220 has outperformed the BIPII
