Haven't been checking Intel mobos since... p2 and I need a suggestion for a cheap mobo with onboard video to go with a e6300. Intel chipset prefered, and under $80 would be nice. There will be no OCing, no gaming, just office and internet. ATX or mATX would be fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

not really going to find any intel chipsets with onboard vid under $80 for C2D. There will be some but it is to soon. here are some i would grab for no ocing.

haha well close the intel board is 82.99 now keep in mind should you nab the intel board. Make sure the ram you get runs on 1.8volts as that is the only option for the board. Thuse leading me to suggest the Gigabyte board over the intel for not much more.

err well suprises everywhere, found this board from asus for $78.99

hmm i might just have to buy it and test it out that and 2 others but they are close to $100 each.

nothing wrong with that one, just keep in mind that all of intels mobo's need ram that uses 1.8 volts unless its the pricy 975x"bad axe" mobo.

no its not.... 1.8v is the only voltage the motherboard supports. check

look on page 16, it says 1.8v only
which means you have to use slower ram till ddr2-800 ram uses 1.8v. the difference if running stock of 667 vs 800 for c2d is not going to be worth the extra money unless your ocing.

just remember newegg states they are not responisable for misinformation on there site about products. always dig deeper then what they list when looking at some products.
