View Full Version : 3rd hard drive!
I have 2 raptors set up in sata as main HDD.
I wanna put in a 3rd ata for storage but windows wont boot up can anyone help me what i do wrong?
Do you mean you have two raptors setup in raid 0 as the main drive?
Then you add the third ATA drive and it wont boot?
If you answer yes to both then I would check your boot order and make sure it isnt trying to boot from the ATA drive.
yes i did check and still nothing

Try putting the jumper on slave then.

You said the Raptors are on SATA. Then, assuming your boot order is set correctly in BIOS, and the new drive is your only IDE drive, then it should be set as primary master...
ok so my dvd and cd drives should be on secondary master and slave?
