Do you need to hit the reset button if you're running @ stock speed?

i assume by stock speed you mean default if so all run well at stock (forgive my ignorance as im relatively new 2 OC'ing

Most likely your CPU needs more juice to boot @ higher FSB, 2 things you can do:
1) Raise the CV on the slocket (depends on the slocket you're using)
2) Pin wrapping/wiring.

I know it sux, I had to boot @ default speed, restart and then raise the FSB, till I found out that if I raised CV on my slocket it would boot like it should.....no more restarts :D

**EDIT** 'More juice' doesn't mean that you need to raise CV over 1.95V, but when you fire up your box your CPU starts with default CV (1.70V I believe) eventho you raised CV in BIOS.

Sorry, a bit later as promised but as I was searching for a pic of a Celeron I found this site (http://www.hyperformance-pc.com/intel_vid.htm) (there's another link at the bottom of the page).

I recommend that you use the 'Pinhole Method'described here (http://www.overclockers.com/tips630/index03.asp) (this is also a great article BTW).

If you have any questions...post them or PM/E-mail me.
Good Luck
