either price mistake cause they are 429 on newegg i think
or its a tray of them?
I LOLD! $1500 is a bit out of my league for ram. All I have to say is it *has* to run 1:1 overclocked for that price!

they are in the process of changing it. and yes they actually sold some at this price. it was a typo by the web guy so the product manager has to get it changed.
here's the email they sent me:
Hello Mike,
This email is in response to the message you posted to our website
where you asked if we have the correct price for the Mushkin 996525 2GB Kit
DDR2-1000 XP2-8000 Redline eXtreme Performance Memory. Please note that
the price listed is not correct, and it will be corrected.
Sincerely,
ZipZoomFly Customer Service
I hope they refund the money to whoever bought some.

I like the way that ZZF didn't quote you the actual price. They figure ...hmmm, if we actually sold some sticks at $1500 and they are supposed to be $500, then we could charge $750 and make a killin'.

Regardless of the mistake, that memory probably OCs like crazy. I might buy me a set soon.
Yea, I am trying to decide between these and the patriot XBLK modules. I was waitng for the prices to come down a little that when I saw the price on ZZF:)

The price is still set to 1500 Washingtons or 1684 Canadian Loonies. I guess that means ZZF is happy with sales at that price... I'd rather put four 2GB DIMMs in my system, it would cost less too (they're about 250 each).
