1)what's the different between a CL2 ,non-CL2 ram amd CL2.5 ram?
2)What's the different between buffered and registered ram?
3)do you think the brand of RAM is important and effect the overall
performance of your system?
Certain brand like NCP and Hyundai are also half the price of Kingston ram.
4) what is a trancend ram?
6)what is ECC ram?
5)What are kind features that one have to look for when choosing
a good ram?
Thank you.

maybe i can help on someones:

1. CAS Latency is the number of clock cycles the RAM needs to process and release the initial piece of data; all the rest will be processed at equal speeds whatever is CL 2 or 3. lower is better when comparing RAMs of a same kind.

2. registered RAM will delay all the data transfered to the module by one clock cycle.
"buffered modules contain a buffer to help the chipset cope with the large electrical load required when the system has a lot of memory" - crucial.com.

3. yes, i think so. they will mostly differ on ability to overclock.

6. ECC memories will check the data readed and writen and will attempt to correct any failure when writing it. its a bit slower than unbuffered RAM.
