http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.47.html anyone manged to test them how do they fair better score in 3D mark or poor ones.

I was gonna install them and upgrade from the 81.98 drivers I'm currently using for my 6200 but I doubt I would see anyone performance with it been a 6200.

Used them for about a week so far , and no problems to report . My "06 scores were about the same . Definitly better than the 91.3X's

Just did a clean install of XP and I am using them with my 7600GT. Played the new FEAR EP demo and it ran pretty smoothly.

I would like to test them but my 81.98 drivers are slipstreamed into the install or my XP Pro SP2. So if I un-install my card and remove the drivers then reboot it installs them again. What I did last time on a previous install or XP was remove then card and 81.98 driver install the 91.47 package reboot then let it discover the 81.98.

Then go into system device manager locate my card then use the update driver option and locate the 91.47 directory. But when trying to play NFSU2 the game was slow I mean sooo slow but I did have NFSU2 installed on a 2nd partion.

And I don't think this system liked it being there!

Can I delete the intregrated drivers or is the above ok.

Kinda off subject but how is that 7900GS working for you? It is still kinda new so havent heard any concrete reviews on it yet just some benchies.

If i may suggest, please try these drivers out.

They are edited by some guy who likes to do this. This thing realy bumped up my Frame-rate in fear with this 6800GS. Overall, these drivers are a BLESSING!

i havn't tried 3Dmark on these yet. but it would be interesting to see what the difference is.

Thats a link to the forums for that specific driver. a link from there takes you to 3Dguru.com's download section for that driver.

these drivers are clean, nothing bad on them. i'm using them myself, and a friend is using them. we BOTH noticed a performace increase.

though, they suggest you clean out your PC of all previously installed Nvidia drivers, to clean everything out with some program. Here is their explanation how to do so, and a link to a program to clean the stuff out for ya.

If anyone else tries these out, please give some info on how much it helped. would be nice to see some 3Dmark numbers.

how is the image quality though?

are these like the 3rd party ati drivers called warcats, where you get double the frames but everything is all jaggy and the IQ is terrible?

personally, i havn't noticed a change in any image quality myself. neither has my friend.

and this doesn't double your Frame-rate. but it DOES give a boost. So far, i havn't seen it sacrifice quality for speed myself.

now some people seem to have problems with these drivers. that could be because they did not clean their PC out of previous Driver info. Or their cards just didn't like it. If you check the Z-tweaked website i linked to, and read some of the reply's, Some people have good luck, others have great luck ( me :p ) and some have bad luck.

And if they don't work, you can always just re-install the official drivers.

I tried them out and they run slower than the 81.98 drivers when playing Diablo 2 L.O.D I know it sounds crazy. But when running around on Act 1 Hell Mode with the full map on screen popping every up now and then. The game slows down pretty bad when it comes on screen even if there's no bad guys.

I run up the field on act 1 without the map on attack with my Sorceress' Frozen Orb it's great. Do the same with the map on and it stutters and goes really slugish.

If I do it with the 81.98's it's hardly noticable looks like the 81.98 are the drivers for me.

i've used these drivers for my SLI setup, couple of problems

1. Control panel is buggy
2. Dark colour when play WMV files

Fixed by downloading 91.33 beta drivers :D does the trick :D works both SLI and non :D

My understanding of newer drivers are for the lastest & greatest cards only. 7900 Series. 7800 series and down should use drivers only when your card was top dog. I can't imagine someone with a 5900 Ultra getting better frame rates than older series drivers as they're not trying to enhance DX8 cards. Again, thats my understanding of it.

Well the 81.98 seem to be the best for me anyways there isn't as much lag when the map is on screen in Diablo 2 L.O.D with them drivers compared to 91.47 set. I thought that I could just simple update them and maybe get a little bit of performance boost out of another set.

I always have understood that you should stick to the drivers for that series but then why would nVidia create drivers and say my card can use them. But I'm not starting an argument some people's older cards are luckly some are not depends.

Currently running 91.31. I tried the 91.47 driver version and it made my computer run really slow. My hard drive wouldnt stop seeking.

91.47 is HORRIBLE for HL2. Most of the shaded areas have no AF at all. It breaks down into red, green, & yellow swaths like one of those bi-linear/tri-linear tests :( Anybody have any suggestions for the best HL2 Nvidia driver?

So I am not the only 1 who saw sluggish performance with these drivers there has got to be a newer set for me that I can upgrade too for my 6200. Since my mate has a HP Pavilion with a 6200 Turbo Cache version I'll test another set on his.

He's going to format it soon anyways wonder what the 91.31's will be like might give them a try.

Haven't had any problems with the 91.47 drivers. The quality and fps is better overall. Decided to switch over to NGO Optimized drivers. Satisfied with the 91.47's.
