i figured the short little sli connector for the 2 cards would come with the cards.... apparently it usually comes with the motherboard?

in which case i definitely dont have it anymore. anyone know where to buy one?

Although you may be able to contact a motherboard company get them to sell you the part as a replacement piece, I ended up calling HP and ordering the part from them for the tyan opteron boards I have. (they use those boards in the 9300 series ws they sell). It was like 30 bucks, total rip off, but at the time the best i could do.

See them on ebay all day long for around 10 to 15 bucks, ebayer beware applys.
