geeee..this is so confusing..
I have connected 4 PCs to broadband, using a router...
the router acts as the server and i used to have a LAN as well!!
not anymore!!
SOMETHING happened and one PC with win2k refused to connect to the net...and the LAN. i did whatever i could, but i failed...so i reinstalled win2k over the existing version...and the problem was solved, except that the LAN was gone....the win2k PC can not connect to the internet, but VERY slow, and the LAN is gone!
i need help guys...the broadband helpdesk can't help me!!
i have tried chaning the NIC slot and remember that the PCs were in a LAN, sometime ago!! so, the sharing, and workgroup names are all set.
please people!!
need help urgently!!
thanks!
