I wanted to know specifically what people are getting out of there chips on this board.

CPU - 372x9 E6600
Voltage set to norm in bios
Ram 5-5-5-15 @ 2.5 multi
Dual prime stable

Does the RAM operate faster if the multi is set higher than 2.00?

I always set mine at 2.00, seems like I get better o/c potential out of it. But since I'm running stock right now until I get a stronger PSU and faster RAM, it's set at 2.5.

So, Kingston HyperX 900 works on this board? I may have to buy some, I've been looking for faster RAM that can let my CPU have a higher FSB.

I am running 430x7 = 3.010, load temps in orthos are 41-43 with Arctic Freezer 7 Pro.

I am using GSKILL 2x1GB PC6400 HZ series rated at 4,4,4,12. I followed exactly what components were used on extremesystems to get some major overclocks. I am running the ram at 2.0setting but have not played with timings. I only bumped up vcore one notch and same for vdimm. Gola is to get to 460x7.

The GSkill seems to be posting some awesome results for overclocking, and then I want to see how high it can go 1:1

got mine to do 6x500 with the stock cooler, thats why I didn't try 7x500.

E6300 and Gigabyte 965P-DS3 with 2x1GB Corsair DDR2-800 @ 5-5-5-12

i was looking at the DS3 for a rig im gonna get around Jan 2007 and was wondering to hit 420FSB would i need good chipset cooling?

I tested at 3.2GHz with stock cooling and it made ~58C TAT with Orthos Full load. The chipset was far too hot to do more than touch and take the finger away. I used the TT Extreme Spirit II and now it is just warm to the touch.

400MHz X 8 = 3.2GHz

E6300 @ 2.9ghz, 415x7, 1.33v

Using a gig of Corsair PC2-5400C4. I tried using the 2gb version of this RAM with the same settings, and it didn't work... memtest86 showed repeating errors, and it ran very hot. Right now, it's running with no errors showing at 830mhz still using the 4-4-4-12 timings, and no voltage adjustments. Temperature is fine, too.

Look at my sig.

I haven't tried pushing it past 400 yet. I'm having strange issues with PCI devices (the thing won't boot if I have all three PCI slots in use).

I tried the F6 BIOS, and I couldn't overclock as high as I could with the F5 BIOS, so I ended up rolling back.

Right now my E6400 is sitting at 430x7 (3010mhz) @ 1.325v and ~50c idle, ~60c load. Before this F6 bios I couldn't boot past 355fsb. Now, I'm almost sure I can get 500fsb.

See my sig below: E6300 is runniung at 1.35 VCore - idle 39C/load 46. Memory is a sweltering 47C idle at 2.2 VDIMM: Don't ask about the NB...it's a forest fire!!

A 90mm fan blowing half speed over the memory & NB has brought the temps below 40C. Thank goodness for the cool/damp NW.

Ain't technology wonderful? :D

Sure, all you need is some conductive ink to do Kunaak's VDroop Mod.
