I will be ordering my new Conroe setup this weekend and going with a E6300. I want to pair it up with a 965 chipset board. Just wondering what one you guys would recomend and why.

Thanks

The Asus boards are very nice. Personally, stay away from the Abit 965 boards till they fix the bugs. I built a system for a friend with one, and although the board (AB9 Pro) had a lot of features, none of them worked.

I probably should have posted it in the original post. I am looking to spend in the $150 range.

Then the Asus P5B non-deluxe would probably be a good choice for you.
Does that one overclock just as well?
I have the same problem, need a 965 mobo for my e6300.
I've been thinking about this one, can anyone tell me anything about it, its in the 150 range.
GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 Socket T (LGA 775)

Reviews seem to be good.

I have been eyeing that one myself. I dont plan on OCing much more than stock vcore and the stock HSF will let me anyways.

dont forget the asus p5b-e comes out soon with ich8r and is around $150.

boards that are ocing well in the 120-150
Gigabyte 965p-s3 / 965p-ds3
Asus P5B / P5B-E

if you want good ocing and lots of features wait for the P5B-E
