Anyone encounter this before? I'm running a 7600gs 512mb 91.47 drivers with a 2.6ghz Venice and a gig of ram.Fps are in the 60's yet this game is very choppy. All other games run excellent.
Any ideas?

yeah I had this problem too but it got fixed when I downloaded the upgrade

patch from EA.com now the game runs very smooth.

you could also try ripping your game to the harddrive and play it from there

maybe your drive is starting to get sluggish from to much use or it could be

overheating from the long amount of spinning.

Hope that helps.

I'm running the same drivers as you, 91.47, and my game runs smooth as silk...
Try reducing the overclock on your CPU, better yet, run your CPU at stock settings and see how that runs...
If that don't work, try using the 84.21 drivers.
If that still doesn't work, try fiddling around with different detail settings in the game, or reduce the game's resolution and use some extra AA to make up for the loss of eye candy.
Hope this helps.

Yea it was patch v1.3 and I to am running it from my harddrive and it is

running buttery smooth.

I have it running at highest settings and my pc is set up on my toshiba 61"

HDTV at 1080P.

I play in with the system in my sig so I dont know why you are having

problems I think your system is better then mine minus the fact that I am

using sli.

Well now! I did just that and wouldn't ya know it's much smoother now.
We have a winner! Thanks for the reminder :) Sometimes you just wanna beleive higher clock speed is always better with everything.
