Conroe - Memory

Should I be looking for memory rated at 1066 instead of 800 to match the FSB of a Conroe? Or am I confused? :) Go easy on me.

I think it depends on your budget. 800will work but 1066 is better.

Unless you plan to max out performance, 1066 isn't necessary.

From all the benchmarks I've seen on non-oc'ed conroe's, 800 to 1066 mem usually gives 3-5% increase in overall performance.

So you have to make up your mind if its worth the dollar.

Personally I'm still waiting for 1066 to drop, and quadcore to make the market.
