when i drag a video (in bsplayer) to one of my monitors, the window is blank until i put it in full screen. when i put it in full screen, it looks perfect, but when i take it out of full screen, the video window only shows a portion of the full screen video (the portion where the non-full-screened window is)
also, on two of my other monitors, any video i play with bsplayer is really dark.... and generall not good looking (both of these monitors are hooked to one video card... xept the video car they are hooked up to is the same type of card the other two monitors are hooked up to and they are all on default settings (i installed everything a few days ago and havent touched a single setting)
....anyone know what the problem(s) could be?

You obviously have driver/encoder problems... or nothing is configured by default...
Please state ALL driver and video control programs you have installed, including driver versions, and some screenshots may help as well.
I have an example that may help with this problem:
I had the same problem on my ancient(yet heavily overclocked to make it better) 5700LE, it all turned out that the defaults were incorrect, I had to set multi-monitor to Master and #2 vs Extending the desktop across both monitors or having a split desktop.
There are usually 3 multidisplay modes(naming of modes vary):
(1)Main+secondary(trimary,quadary)(desktop on one monitor, and the other is just an empty place to put stuff and play things fullscreen**),
(2) #1 and #2(#3,#4)(the desktop is chopped up, with the taskbar on one monitor and you can have many things anywhere, no fullscreen default is set most of the time)
(3) Stretch... the most annoying way to go multimonitor if you have an even number of monitors.
**The option somewhere in your display settings that should give you the option of which monitor will go to fullscreen while the other remains as-is.
As for Brightness varying... that'll be a guaranteed problem if you don't have identical monitors, and if you do, they have to be set the exact same.
If they are and you still have this problem... you may have to set a custom multimonitor profile... ATI's drivers are automatic and good at dealing with multiple displays... nvidia is all about performance...

whats the difference between #1 & #2?
i have my start button, quick launch, and systray in one window, then each window has its own taskbar with the programs running on that screen (via ultramon...)
