How bad is an artifact?

Lets say you get a few artifacts, but your ok with it and it doesnt bother you. Is there anything wrong with that? COuld you be doing some damage to your card?

yes, artifacts are your card erroring. Lower the clock, its instability in the card. And unlike a CPU it doesn't just shut the computer off. You could be doing permanent damage tot he GPU
