9700 GO or 9700GTX GO

Hey all, I'm configuring a Dell XPS laptop and am wondering if there's a huge difference between 7900 GO 256MB or 7900 GTX GO 512MB. Can anyone tell me if it's just clockspeeds or also more pipes and vertex shaders ect? I won't be running the latest and greatest games today, but maybe will in the future...

I believe there is a significant difference, the 7900GTX will be faster. More pipes.
