Alrite 2 thing to clear up before i start;
This is probably a dumb question
If this is a duplicate thread, forgive me.. i don't know what terms to use in search
Alrite, I'm having trouble starting my computer's mobo Foxconn C51XEM2AA. Powers running well through it, because all the parts are running and fans also.. But i can't seem to get through POST.. The guy over there sugested to see if my 8pin was working..
Now my question is this.. would switching the voltage on the back effect my computer in any harmful manner, or will extra voltage just be rejected by the mobo? Could this give me more power?

That is the voltage supplied to the PSU. In some European area the 2xx setting is used in the USA the 1xx setting is used. Does you wall supply 110/120 volt or 220/240 volt?

If the switch is wrong the PSU will not turn on hence no power at all including fans...
