i just failed the OS test for A+ certification. i got the hardware test no problem, but the OS test was just horrible. there were so many questions with more than one correct answer, so i didn't know which one to choose.

does anybody know more about this test's format than i do? i need to pass it because A) it gets me a decent paying job and B) the tests cost a lot so i don't want to have to waste any more money than is necessary.

any advice on how to get through these kinds of questions will be greatly appreciated.

Easy study it until you know it. You can also use a practice test which comes very close to the real thing, yes it costs money but for some people it makes all the difference.

Here's a cool place I was told about from a friend : http://www.expertrating.com/ .

Also here : http://www.practicetime.info/

I think the key is you need to think in the terms they are presenting. Sure technically in the real world there might be more than one answer to a question. But according to the material they are expecting you to use as training there is only one correct answer.

Also keep in mind that the test isn't 100% up to date. Often times things that have changed recently won't be on the exam, and an option that just became available wasn't when they wrote the question, so when it was written only one answer was correct.

Is there a website that you can get the certification online? If there is, can i get a link please because i am intersted in getting it. Any other pretty easy certs that can be taken online, not to expensive, that are usefull in getting a job in the IT field?
