by mounting it via smbfs
man mount, search for "smbfs"
smbclient -L //IP shows you the available shares. There is also the Samba howto

well I went to linuxheadquarters.com and took a lookat their "Samba Configuration- Linux/Windows Connectivity" guide... I logged in as root and I edited the smb.config file so that the workgroup is now 'WORKGROUP'... but when I got to view my workgroup computers from my Windows PC, I get nothing... help?
