Hi there,
Sorry if this has been answered before, but I read the SLI FAQ and I just wanted to verify:
If I have a eVGA 7800GT 256MB card and a eVGA 7800GT CO 256MB card, can I run them in SLI? Or do they both have to be CO or both non-CO?
Thanks for your help.

doesnt matter at all, just get the newer drivers and youll be all set. but when you get them installed and do some 3dmark05 and tell me what you get. this is what i get with 1 evga 7800gt co and i want to get a 2nd one to hold me over til dx 10 becomes mainstream.

Cool, thanks.
It's nice to see a familiar face from the beginning of the year... I remember you gave me a few good tips on OC'ing my CPU. It's still running strong @ 2.8GHZ. :)

Well, I won the auction for the eVGA 7800GT CO 256MB card, so I should be running SLI in two weeks. :)
BTW lifted, I'm taking your advice from a different thread and downloading the nvidia 92.91 beta drivers.

Yeah try them out, some people have different results but they worked wonders for me. glad you won the auction, when you get the other card do some 3dmark and see what you get and lemme know

For sure. Do you know where I can get a copy of 3DMark05? I noticed that's what you were using in your test, I only have 3DMark06.
Do you still have to pay for 3DMark05, or did it become free when 3DMark06 came out?

I got a 70 point boost in 3DMark06 by updating to the beta drivers. I scored a 3740.
I'm going to get a base reading on 3DMark05 as soon as it finishes downloading.
